The kitchen is the heart of every home. It evokes memories of your family history.
We have lived in this house for almost four years, and I could never figure out what to do with two walls in my home. Last year I decided to tackle both of them.
I’ve always wanted to enhance my kitchen decor, especially my infamous blank wall and after months of scouring Pinterest, I’ve finally tackled this project and changed my blank kitchen wall into a gorgeous statement piece.
I should mention that when we designed our home I was obsessed with everything rustic and our kitchen reflects that. Two years later and I kick myself every time I see a classic white kitchen on HGTV.
That being said with some light linen drapes, a modern mix glass table with classic nailhead dining chairs, I’ve made it work.
Searching on Pinterest, I finally found what I could do with that dull blank wall.

I wanted to tie in elements from around my home, so when choosing items to style the shelves, I brought in colours and textures from each of my other spaces.
